This is a well designed but very poorly manufactured item
Firstly, look at the video. The demonstrator never really gets to show you that it actually works. If I hadn't had a manufacturing background this product would have been returned, not because it was badly designed, it isn't, but because nothing actually fitted. The plastic thread on the rear stop was so tight it was impossible to turn to get adjustment.I had to put it into a lathe and take material off the thread until it was possible to turn it enough to actually stretch the shoe. The plastic buttons would not fit into the holes as upon measuring, the small shaft was bigger than the drilled hole. All the holes had to be re-drilled before the parts would fit. This is a nice product but is no good for it's purpose due to a lack of quality control during manufacture.

This product did not do what I had bought it for
A very good concept but broke very quickly. I am a female size 8 & a half & maybe should have bought the one for mens shoes. Also the major screw section that widens the wooden sections stopped working. Quality could have been better - needed to be more robust.

Did not last 6 months
My first order was returned and replaced but the exact same thing happened - they have both broken. It turns out the centre rods are connected to a plastic bullet head - both are now shattered. Would not recommend these to anyone.

Arrived damaged, returned for refund. Poor quality.
Packaging adequate but plastic components in many tiny pieces. Looks like broken because too fragile rather than because of rough handling. Bad experience for me because my wife had said it would be junk and I had to admit she had been correct.
