Ideal size for herbs or small tomato plants, easy to use, less maintenance required as I have them half way above soil level. Parsley and Basil planted as well and are growing beautifully.

The tomato plants planted in these grow pots seem to be growing better than my other tomatoes in normal pots!! Yet to see whether they produce more fruit though.

These pots are probably the best purchase I have ever made for my garden. They have made it so easy water and care for my tomatoes and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I must admit that I was a little disappointed when I got my parcel and opened it to discover that the wooden stakes were not included with the grow pots. I am at fault for not reading the description properly, but as the photo included them, we always expect to get exactly the same as the photo depicts. I think the wording that the stakes are not included need to be highlighted. So I have not used them yet as tomato seedlings have just arrived in the nurseries, I will be getting a few plants on the weekend.

Just planted some cauliflowers in them, they help to stop the birds from digging up seedlings in the ground.

Only just put them in my garden and have a tomato plant in each one. Should be better to water by this and less weeds will grow.

A good looking item, works Ok but please use specially formulated tomato potting mix

I first bought these a year ago. They worked quite well so I ordered more this year. The concept is great. The slots for placing bamboo sticks to support the tomato plant are spaced in the right way to support metal tomato cages. The only problem I have is with the reservoir. It clogs up too easily, which means it stops working. To fix it, you need to take the tomato cage off, lift the grow pot off the tomato plant (which becomes a lot more difficult as the plant grows), then hose out whatever has clogged it and go through the same rigmarole, in reverse, to put it all back. I am not sure how to fix this. I have thought about making some kind of cover over the reservoir to prevent debris falling into it. Something like the steel covers we place on gutters to prevent debris and embers falling into them. Otherwise, stuff just falls into it from the surrounding soil, when mulching, when adding potting mix to plant the tomato in the centre ring, when watering etc.
